July 30, 2008 (Carmel, IN) - A new 7,990 square foot Dollar Tree store will be opening next spring in the Tri-State Commons shopping center anchored by Kohl's Department Store and located at 3308 N. Wayne Street, Angola, IN, according to an announcement made today by Tim Jordan of JDF Development. Dollar Tree will be relocating from a different shopping center in Angola, thereby doubling the size of their previous store in Angola.
"We are pleased to announce that we have signed our second lease within six months with such a strong national company as Dollar Tree to continue the pre-leasing for our new 26,450 square foot Kohl's Department Store anchored development in Angola," said Jordan. "When we analyzed the market to determine the viability for this development, we noticed that Dollar Tree had outgrown its existing space in the market, had no opportunity to expand in their current location, and would likely have an interest in relocating to a new shopping center," added Jordan. "We were able to sign leases with Famous Footwear, Great Clips, and now Dollar Tree for this development, and are now 60% pre-leased," said Jordan.
Dawn Lyon of NAI Olympia Partners represented Dollar Tree; JDF Development represented the landlord, JDF Angola LLC.
